WHAT IS A SERVICE AUCTION?
A SERVICE AUCTION is a fundraising event at which goods, personal and professional services, are donated by community merchants, artists and parish members. These services or goods are then auctioned.
* Admission (adults only) is $20.00 if paid in advance or $30.00 upon your arrival the night of the auction.
* Refreshments are complimentary.
HOW DOES THE AUCTION WORK?
- Upon arrival, all bidders must register and obtain numbers.
- Each successful bidder is responsible for paying the bid amount. Payment must be made prior to picking up item(s). Checks should be made payable to: Our Lady of
La Salette. Visa and Master Card will also be accepted. A successful bidder on more than one item may elect to make one payment covering all items. Check out will begin 10:00 P.M.
- Every effort will be made to describe items completely and correctly. All items are sold "as is" without warranty or representation of any kind as to the correctness of description, condition or quality.
- All items and services must be used within the time limit stated and are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the donors. The maximum time limit for using any service purchased is one year from the date of purchase.
- All items have been donated to and are sold by Our Lady of
La Salette Parish. Auction items are not sold by the donor. Purchasers should not seek refunds, exchanges or replacements unless specifically stated in the item description.
- In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer will act as the final authority and will determine the winning bidder.
- Any sales or excise tax will be paid by the purchaser.

Our SILENT AUCTION will be held before the Live Auction. Silent Auction items will be displayed or described on the Silent Auction tables in the lower level of the Landry Parish Center. Each item will have a bid sheet on which you may write your bidder name, number and bid amount. You may bid on as many of the items as you wish and you may bid on an item more than once. Announcements about the closing of each table will be made periodically.
The LIVE AUCTION will begin at 9:00 p.m. in the upper level of the Landry Parish Center.
